Paulette Lopes is the founding partner of FBL Advogados, specializing primarily in Corporate and Commercial Law. She has a strong focus on advising major economic groups on private investment in Angola, particularly in foreign investment projects.
With extensive experience in company formation and privatization under Angolan law, Paulette also contributes to academia as a lecturer at the School of Law at Universidade Agostinho Neto, where she teaches Civil Procedural Law III.
In addition to her academic role, Paulette is an active contributor to the field of corporate law, regularly publishing scientific articles. She is also a co-author of Insolvency Law and Notes for Updating the Bankruptcy Legal Regime in Angola, both featured in the Special Commemorative Edition of the XXXV Anniversary of FDUAN.
Paulette began her career in the Ministry of Information, later transferring to the Ministry of Justice during the First Republic. In 1976, she joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a diplomat.
