Zara Jamal has been a Partner at Abreu Advogados since 2016 and at JLA Advogados, Abreu Advogados’ associate firm in Mozambique, since 2014. She specializes in advising international businesses on project finance transactions in Mozambique, with a key focus on the banking, insurance, real estate, agriculture, and energy sectors.

Her expertise lies in banking, finance, corporate, and regulatory law, frequently advising on international project financing transactions.

She also has experience in Islamic Banking and played a key role in facilitating Murabaha’s first transaction in Mozambique.
