LEX Africa's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programme

Contributing to Sustainable Development Across Africa

LEX Africa and its members are committed to making a meaningful impact beyond the legal profession. Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programme reflects our belief that businesses should play an active role in supporting and participating in the communities in which they operate. With a presence in 29 African countries, we are proud to contribute to initiatives that support the socio-economic development of our Continent. Says Pieter Steyn, Chairperson of LEX Africa, “The key focus of LEX Africa’s CSR Programme is on organisations operating in one or more African countries.  CSR is particularly important in developing countries where significant social and developmental challenges remain and where the private sector can assist and supplement Governmental and NGO initiatives”.
