Apart from the formal work and brainstorming sessions, the host firm, Mame Adama Gueye & Associes, ensured that delegates were able to enjoy the sights (including the world heritage site at the Island of Gorée and the Lac Rose Lagoon), local art, music and cuisine and most importantly the culture of Teranga (hospitality). A cocktail party was held to introduce delegates to leading business and Government leaders.

Pieter Steyn, chairman of LEX Africa noted “We are delighted to have held the AGM in Dakar. It’s the first time it has been held in Francophone West Africa and forms part of our strategic focus to expand our membership in Francophone Africa”.
